‘BEYOND THE GARDEN GATE’
A leisurely self-guided tour of 11 gardens.
Friday – Sunday, April 5 – 7, 2024 in Wilmington, NC
Gardens will be open 10:00 am until 5:00 pm daily unless otherwise noted.
You ticket includes admission to a Benefit Art Sale on Sunday April 7, 10am – 5pm at Garden #9, featuring original art created in the gardens during this year’s tour. Admission to the Art Sale is $5.00 for those without a Tour ticket.
Our Azalea Garden Tour will open with the spectacular Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. This event includes The North Carolina Azalea Festival Queen and celebrity guests. The Azalea Queen’s Garden Party will be held immediately following the Ribbon Cutting. The Ribbon Cutting & Azalea Queen’s Garden Party© will be held Friday, April 5, 2024, at 9:30 am. at Cameron Art Museum, 3201 South 17th St Wilmington, North Carolina.
Gardens will be open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm daily unless otherwise noted. Gardens 1-4 will be accessed by shuttle only, departing regularly from Harbor Way Gardens on Wrightsville Beach. Cape Fear Garden Club Ambassadors will welcome visitors to gardens throughout the three-day tour. Click here for a preview of the gardens.
Tickets are $50 and are good for all three days, they may be purchased at any of the below-listed vendors. Tickets will also be available in the gardens on tour days, payment by check or cash only. Children under 12 are admitted free with a paid adult. No Pets are allowed. Tickets are non-refundable and must be presented at each garden.
Profits from the tour are reinvested in the beautification of our community through grants that will be awarded in October 2024.
